Silent sadness

of ages

Past and future

Blanket the blue

Spinning world.

Minds weep

Voicelessly crying…

Bouncing babies

In parents arms

wonder why?

The grey, grown

Grandparents smiling,

Staring, shaking

Wonder how?,

As they stare

Into the boundless future

Of the newly born offspring.

We wonder, as we

Watch the world,

Why them?

When will it stop?

When children are not

Born into fear…

It will stop!

We must start getting it right,

We can not leave our failings to them
