Weekend

Went to a family get together last night, boys and girls playing in the sun. Family and friends gathered together playing games and sharing tales of their lives. Drinks and laughs, shared memories of times spent together, and plans for future events are the course of the night. Those warm feelings of love and acceptance, you know you are home. I think this is so inspiring it frees me from the thoughts of the burdens of day to day life, and allows my mind to wander to thoughts of play, and people, and the emotions that connect us all. Of course losing every game we played sucked, but hey you can’t (though I tried) win them all! I got whipped pretty good, by some of the young ones. The old ones didn’t do too bad either! I’m home now it’s sunday, my favorite day of the week, I’m on the couch working on the computer, and eating food. I don’t think I could have a better weekend. I hope everyone out there had a good weekend too.
